Dustin was born prematurely and so he spent two nights in the NICU. I had to get up and go to the NICU every 2-3 hours to change and feed him. Since he was early, Dustin hadn't developed the suck reflex yet so I had to supplement him with formula which wasn't apart of my plan. It was hard each and every time to leave him in the NICU and go back to my room. He was so tiny at 5.5 lbs! I was so scared to hold him and change his diaper but the nurses were angels.
